Immigration
regulations:
passport or personal identity card necessary. Children under 16 years can travel on their parents
passports.
Animals:
an international certificate of vaccination (to be obtained from a vet)
is necessary together with a certificate of vaccination against rabies
(at least 15 days and not older than 12 months old). Additionally a
certificate of health issued by an official vet and not older than 10
days.
Cars:
driving licence and car papers necessary. The international green
insurance card is recommended.
Provisions:
travelling
privately within the EU goods may be taken unlimited only if for own
use. To differentiate between commercial and private use the following
guidelines are valid: 800 cigarettes, 400 cigarillos, 200 cigars, 1kg
tobacco, 10 litres spirits, 90 Litre wine (only 60 litres if sparkling
wine) and 110 litres bier. If bigger quantities are taken one has to
convince the customs duty in case of a spot-check that the goods are
in fact for private use.
Export
of antiques –bought or found- is prohibited.
Traffic
regulations:
maximum speed in km/h for cars, motorcycles, camping vans in town: 50,
50, 40; out of town: 110, 80, 70; on motor ways: 120, 80, 90.
The
limit for your alcohol level is 0,5%. Mobile phones may not be used
during driving except with loud speaking set.
